Sewing

I learned sewing from my mother-in-law Sandra. She is not only the best sewer/quilter I have ever met, but also the most loving and caring person I have ever known. She sews with her care and soul. Her work and her passion inspired me to sew.

Sandra and I made this elephant during the Christmas of 2008. His name is Metalphant because he likes to bang his head while listening to heavy metal. He is about 9″ tall and he is made out of fleece.

I made this pink elephant for my sister-in-law Katie.  I started this project on new years’ eve of 2009 and I worked till 4:00AM Saturday morning. It turned out really cute! It is supposed to be a surprise. shhhhh…

My husband Brad bought me a turtle pattern and two fish patterns. I made this turtle in Feb 2009.
